Stylesheets change create a loss of styling in past Mouseflow ecordings
To avoid loss of Styling in past Mouseflow recordings when stylesheets change, you suggest:
« either keep a copy of your old stylesheets on the server, or redirect Mouseflow to a stable version »
This is impossible with a WP ecommerce installation and its numerous plugin unless messing with the code with all the risks on future plugin updates.
You should at least record stylesheets and keep them connected with the recording rather than use the one on the client server.
That would be a nice improvement as WP installations have a tendency to change often even if they keep…1 vote -
Excluding Particular Traffics
Hi,
Previously i have used hotjar tool to monitor my website traffic there i found "Visitor can able to exclude their traffics below 30 sec " or exclude recording below 2 pages, if this feature available in mouseflow means it will more helpful to exclude unwanted recordings.
Randomly excluding recordings using Recording Rate sometimes we will miss checkout recording or user registration recording etc

New column/Category on the recording list
It would be very helpful if we could add, new column for information like – User name/ User age or other important information captured during the recording review

Being able to find back your tags within a recording.
Especially for longer recordings it would be very nice if you could find back events based on the tags you set earlier. Currently I have to watch the entire recording to find what i'm looking for

Track the funnel of all sessions
I understand it's expensive to have a mouseflow for all sessions, so I set that to about 1/3 of my visitors. But it would be pretty great for the ones where there isn't a recording if it still stracked funnel steps and custom actions; That way I could totally eliminate analytics and only use mouseflow;
tldr: track actions of all users, but only record a handful

Account management
Especially relevant for agencies or consultants working with Mouseflow for multiple clients. If the clients have their own Mouseflow Space and a consultant registers within their space, he cannot use the same email address anymore for his own space or for other clients.
Plenty of tools have good solutions for that (e.g. Slack, Miro, ...), just check them out.4 votes -
New filter is very bad, bring back old way of filtering
New filter feature is terrible, just bring back old way of filtering stuff, new features should improve usability this is contrary it makes hard to find stff

Cache asset files
CSS and other asset files should be cached by Mouseflow in order for recording to always be in line with the user have seen even if CSS on the app has changed. Most advanced workflows rely on constantly changing filenames (fingerprinting) to ensure user has the right version. Currently, there is no way to account for that.

Whole or single element screen capture for feedback
An option on feedback campaigns to allow a user to capture a screen shot of the whole screen on an element (like mopinion or hotjar). Marry this with the suggested feature to always show the feedback form tab, and the one to allow Likert style questions and you have a competitive feature.

Adjusting the width of each item when displayed in a list
Feature Request from client.
When working on a small computer, there are cases where the page URL is cut off in the middle at the heatmap list and it is impossible to check which page's heat map at a glance.
I would be happy if I can adjust the width of each item by dragging.

Allow filtering on mobile
I think this is a bug but theres no way to use the filtering option on mobile (Android). Drop down menu can't be clicked. Would be nice to be able to sort through recordings on the go.

Limit recording rate for certain pages
One blog post create about 20-30% of all traffic to my page. Mouseflow has recorded enough data for this page, although I would like to keep recording because I make changes to sidebars etc.
I would love it if i could cap the recording rate for this page at 10% of all visits, without changing the rate for all other pages.

Record changes to my website (manual or automatic) and compare stats before and after
I'm constantly making changes to my website. Right now I keep a log in a text file. I think it would be great if I could compare Mouseflow statistics on funnels and heatmaps before and after a change to a page.

Merge recordings where you know the recordings are from the same user
Where multiple recordings are from the same user, have the ability to merge them into one.
So, I know I have 4 separate recordings, one with 18 sessions, and 3 others with 3-4 sessions each. I know they are all the same user, so should be able to merge them together.

allow searching for recordings by mouseflow hash.
Hi,
If I'm given a recording by another mouseflow user and I want to search up its details in our mouseflow account, using the hash name of the recording.
I tried but cannot.

A record which shows percentage duration on a specific field
When Customers are on our page we are interested in which sector or specific field they spent their time.

Save draft feedback campaign.
Sometimes I'm not ready to launch a feedback campaign even though I have entered my survey questions. There's no way to save a draft and edit it later. I just want to be able to save the feedback campaign in a draft state and be able to edit it before it goes live.

I can’t Aggregate more than one campaign at a time. Having the ability to and together would be useful.
