Typo fix in "Suggest new Feature" box
Just reporting that small typo in the "Suggest new Feature" box.
I assume instead of "Thorough" it should read "Through" there, shouldn't it?

Faster playback sessions
Playing user sessions is incredibly valuable but also incredibly timeconsuming. Might it be a good idea to have a fastforward button to increase the playback speed by 2x, 4x, 8x or even 16x?

Rate of Usage on My Account Page
It would be very useful to know at what rate I'm using up my monthly recordings. That way if I am using them too quickly, I could adjust the recording rate (ie from 1/10 to 1 of 20 recordings).
It would be great to see number of recordings made in the last 24 hours and maybe the last 7 days (or something like that).

This feature is actually available under Websites > Edit > Recording Rate.
You can set a fractional amount (1/2, 1/3, and so on).
In the recording list, you can customize the date range to view all new sessions for the past day, X days, month, etc., as well.

I would love the ability to be able to download the heat maps, viewport maps, etc. for easy printing, viewing, or sharing.

form analytics
I would like a detailed form analytics report to show which specific fields people dropping off, how long it takes to fill out each field in the form, the time of hestitation to fill out each field, etc..

Ability to identify actions within recordings
Every page has a certain action which we want to visitor to take. It would be great if we could identify what that action is on the page and then have a way of identifying which recordings the visitors took that action during. For example, if the desired actions is filling out a form, then it would be great to have an easy way of knowing for which recordings that action occurred in and be able to filter out just the recordings with those actions.

You can achieve this using our ‘Custom Variables’-feature. It let’s you can tag a recording with any information you choose. You can then filter the recording list based on the tags.

I only want to record sessions for those users who agree to take part via an opt in. This enables us to ensure that we only record the visits we want.

Setting feature to record specific landing page sessions
This feature would make it possible to have some useful data let's say with 1000 recoridings with the small plan.

Engagement: The average amount of time a visitor engaged (click, moved, scrolled, etc.) with the page
Exactly how is "engagement time" measured? Does it stop after a certain amount of time with no movement detected? How does it deal with page/tab parking?

Enhancement: Consistent time period mirror between features
Situation:
Selected time period of analysis, is not consistent when flowing between Mouseflow features and dashboards.
Use case example:
Let's say you start on the heatmaps section; when selecting the time period to analyse. If you pick a time period other than the default populated period and then move to another area, lets say funnels, the date/timeframe you selected reverts back to the automatically generated one.This isn't great UX, as it means you need to manually keep entering the timeframe you're looking to analyse while navigating through the various Mouseflow functions. It also means that sometimes you can lose…

Enhancement: Custom sorting of data columns
When looking at a large number of recordings (or any other data set for that matter), you can't seem to custom sort.
E.g. I want to sort by the 'last seen' column, from being the most recent, to the earliest. This doesn't seem possible within the interface.
Also being able to pick a certain timeframe during the day would be ideal... e.g. I'm looking to view recordings from 08:00 - 09:00 on a certain day. As it stands i have to scroll from 23:59 down to 08:00 and when you have thousands of recordings, this is tedious and poor ux.

We will not be introducing the option to sort columns in the recording list.

Funnel Element Tracking
It would be great if you could add a feature whereby a we can add a step to a funnel to see if a user clicks on a certain element of a page such as 'Add to cart' or 'Request Quote' so we a as a business can gain a better understanding of conversions under a certain path.

We actually have this feature. To set it up, you’ll want to simply send a “virtual pageview” to Mouseflow when a user clicks the “Add to Cart” or “Request Quote” button/link.

Enhancement: Add option to reduce speed of playback
Sometimes users are navigating and their interactions are happening very quickly. So additional slow motion speed of playback options would be beneficial.

Let us have a list of which pages we're monitoring
It'd be really handy if we could get a list of all the pages we've put the Mouseflow tracking code on.
At the moment, we can only keep track of which of our web pages we're monitoring if we keep a separate list.
Ie, if every time someone puts the Mouseflow tracking code on one of our website pages, they need make a note of it in a separate doc or spreadsheet somewhere.
1 voteThanks for reaching out! We actually have this feature. If you login to your account and go to Heatmaps, the full list of all pages which are tracked will be displayed. You can also download this as CSV by clicking All Heatmaps > Download as CSV.

See all/any Metrics Over Time on Dashboard
It would be nice to see the trends for the other metrics, and not just for recordings. (IE: Page-Views , Users/Visitors , etc.)

Ability to duplicate an existing feedback survey
Often I want to rerun the same survey or a variant of a previous survey. At the moment I have to copy and paste via alternate tabs - which seems unnecessary work.
