Classify the recordings in folders
Yes, when I see a recording, I would like to mark is as interesting or not, and keep it in a specific folder

Add the ability to limit recordings to a specific country/city
Most people have a specific target market they want to focus on and recordings from outside of this market while useful may expend our limited number of available recordings needlessly. This would be similar to Google Adwords and Facebook where we can laser target only the customers that most interest us.

Record variation(s) screen from VisualWebSiteOptimizer or Optimizely
When running A/B tests the real screen is not captured, just the x/y coordinates. By reading VWO or Optimizely cookies you could actually see the page the user is viewing.

This is actually available if you enable Session Support.
You can do this under Websites > Edit > Session Support > Activate.
It uses the same tracking code (no need to replace) and should take effect immediately.

Use IE's zoom feature to show complete page
You can use zoom feature of IE to show even wide recordings in one single page. Clicktale also does something like this

I would like to be able to exclude (own) IP
Mouseflow records my own browsing and editing, polluting user stats. Would be nice to be able to exclude. Maybe just as a filter on reports " exclude IP's:".

Support user sessions and AJAX
Hey, cool startup! We're a small startup ourselves and we like what you're working on. We've tried several competitors and honestly the most compelling option was Clixpy because they could handle user sessions (logins) and did ok with AJAX stuff. Not having these features is, for us, a show stopper. Your FAQ mentions that they are on your list. Do you have a timeline?
4 votesSession dependent pages are now fully supported. AJAX calls are still supported in the same way as Clixpy. No side effects on the server during replay.

dispaly the hour of the visit
is not really useful to display 20 minutes ago or 1 day ago in the activities. It could be bettere to have the hour, in this way we can compare it with statistic software...
3 votesIf you hover the mouse over the “xx minutes ago”, you’ll see the exact time. If you extract the data from our API you’ll also get the exact time.

Sorting and filtering on exit page
At the moment it's possible to filter on "Entry page" in the "Recordings" section but what I would really like to see, is the exit pages.
If I can sort on exit pages, I would be able to see which pages the user last saw - and thereby learn, which page did or did not answer the user's needs.
This would of course be interesting both with regards to heatmaps but also recordings, since watching a session of what a user has tried before he exited on that particular page would reveal the reasons for the exit rate of this…
3 votesThis can be done. Switch to Single Pages view and select “Exit page” in the page position selector. In the page selector, choose the page you want to search for.

Map recordings to a 3. Level Domain
Record only for aaa.yourdomain.com and not for ccc.yourdomain.com
3 votesThis is now possible to do by adding the specific subdomain as the project domain. Example: if ‘aaa.yourdomain.com’ is added as the URL, no recordings will be made on ‘ccc.yourdomain.com’.
But if the URL added is ‘yourdomain.com’ we will automatically record all subdomains.

Save segmenting options for future use.
Allow users to save their filters/segmenting options and tie them to a name so they can use them later, without needed to respecify them.

When watching a playback, give me a hyperlink or button to go to the actual page the user is on
There's a drop down menu showing the URL the user is on. There is no easy way to actually get to that page if you need to debug something.
Add a hyperlink or button to browse to that page.

i visit my own site a lot during development - how can i filter my own visits so they don't interfere with heatmaps and statistics and everything else?

Send recordings to other users
It should be possible to send a link for a recording to other users in the same account. So they can get the link for the recording in their email with a little comment.
We have several users not located together so this feature would help us alot.

Filter by visited page.
I used at ClickTale the feature where you can filter by a page someone visited during their visit, rather than just being able to filter on Entry Page, I would like to filter based on 'User visted Basket.html at some point in their visit'.

This is possible if you go to Recordings > Single Pages and set the “Page” filter.
This will let you pick a certain page that must be present during the scope of a session.

nice url merging
Hi, I want to ask you where did you plan to do, new funkcionality of merging nice URL. If we are using for example URL: www.obrazynamiru.cz/search/dog we can not merge search page. We paid the mouseflow for one month, but without this function we probably will not use it in next time... Thanks

Allow me to rank/score certain paths programmatically
Your service would be 1000% more useful to me if I could rank (w/ an async JS call) the videos that I want to watch. For instance, all sessions are recorded, but I don't necessarily want to watch all videos. So, let's say a user is filling out a form, and they trigger some client-side validation errors, give me the ability to ping your JS beacon with a score between 1-10. Then when I log into your service, allow me to sort paths by rank. Some paths will be more valuable for me to watch, just allow me to tell…

Support referrer
Our site performs referrer - based redirect and Mouseflow can't follow user most probably because it does not send referrer to the server.

If you use the session support method then you’ll get the exact HTML that the users see, so there’s no real need for this specific feature. Moreover it would create side effects on your webserver.

Allow us to search for recordings by IP address
When we have user issues I would like to be able to search for a specific recording by IP address. This would greatly assist me in helping improve my site and support my members.

ip anonymization
in some countries it is illegal to store a visitors ip address without first asking for permission. if there was a function like the google analytics anonymizeIP() that stores the ip in an anonymized form (e.g. without the last part), mouseflow could be used legally in these countries.

verify code installed more quickly
Running out of patience waiting on verification..should be persistently checking for first few minutes..most of us are fast enough to get it installed right away.
