Allow heatmap aggregation of similar pages
All my product pages are the same layout and I would like to see a heatmap for all product pages combined.. Although some parts of the heatmap wouldn't be accurate (as content length differs) much of it would be. Set's of pages could be defined using wildcards or even regex's
This feature is now available for all Mouseflow Customers. Read the full technical walk through here:

The way I see it, this would be solved, if we (just like Google Analytics) could create a virtual pageview with rules that trumps the general parameters.
If we then on all product pages calls the standard recording + recording of virtual page "X" while omitting product-specific parameter for page "X", this would result in a "virtual product page" that sums up all product pages while keeping the individual product pages.

We need this feature for our app. This way it would be much easier to comply with the German privacy laws.

At least for us, it would be ok, to define aggregation parameters before recording. So, another solution for us would be, if we could specify a tracking IDs / Tags through the js code and then see aggregations of all pages with that Tag / ID

This is exactly what we would need.
Without this feature, Mouseflow would not be much use to us, since we have user-specific URLs.The pattern that we use is:
One set of pages:
domain.name/abc/code1
second set of pages:
domain.name/abc/code1-xyz-code2
We would need to aggregate both sets separately, where only code1 and code2 vary (similar to doodle).Cheers - *hoping* Heiko

Yes this would be a great feature

competitors such as crazy egg have this feature and it is very helpful when you're dealing with a large database of nearly identical pages.
